I am sure we are all fed up to the back teeth with politicians here in Cardiff. On a wider scale the behaviour of MP's and the expenses scandal is no surprise, they have all been at it for years and years I'm sure. Tomorrow is the European Elections, I'm not voting. I realise that the vote was not easily obtained historically, it was won with great struggle, but what's the point? After the way Cardiff Council treated people in the referendum I have lost all faith in politics. Seems to be like the council is being run by very childish types, the letters they write to the Echo sound like they are coming from little boys who are having tantrums but with the language used is vexacious and malicious. It's deeply worrying when the only dialogue we can have with the council is via Viewpoints in The Echo. When Russell Goodway was leader of the council you wouldn't have found him writing to the Echo! The gang of two running Cardiff display verbal diarrhoea in their letters, but it's worrying how much anger, hatred and spite their words hold, some words used, liar, thug, moron, coward. No wonder I'm not voting EVER again, democracy is in tatters, we should make these parasites get proper jobs, but actually we haven't got any proper jobs, only they have jobs paid for by fools like us. I'm ranting, we don't rant enough, I am flabberghasted by the double standards and the treatment that the UK is getting and home here in Cardiff too with the blatant disrepect we are shown. A big thanks to Rufus for joining, are you coming to our "do"? email me. By the way, I don't mean the Labour Councillors in our area, they have tried to oppose the despotic gang of two but to no avail, but thank you for trying to get us some respect uphere in the East End of Cardiff. | |
