Dear Member,
 
As you know,  the Bute Park Alliance Group have also been campaigning to save historic parkland from destruction by Cardiff City Council.  
 
The Alliance has been in touch with us to advise that there is a Full Council meeting this Thursday, 25 June, 2009.  At that meeting, Labour Councillor, Ralph Cook (Trowbridge) - with the support of Conservative Councillor Craig Williams (Pentyrch) - will be putting forward yet another motion to put a halt to what's happening at Bute Park.
 
Bute Park Alliance have asked us to contact our Members to advise that a demonstration will be held outside Cardiff City Hall on Thursday, 25 June at 2.30pm, and that if you are able to go along to lend your support, it would be much appreciated.
 
Three of our Committee members will be going along and they've been told to keep their hands in their pockets, this time, so that they don't get accused of being "morons, thugs and liars" yet again!
